You can never have too many electrical outlets, so we’re have a lot of them wired into our addition. We are also taking the opportunity to install more outlets in other parts of the house, including Lynda’s quilt studio and my workshop. We’ve been living with extension cords stretching across the studio and the garage for way too long, and we are finally doing something about it.
The same can be said for lighting. We’ve had too little of it for too long, so we’re installing lots of can lights (recessed fixtures) in the addition and adding a few elsewhere in the house.
