The electrician and his crew worked almost all day on Sunday, and they accomplished a lot.

Lynda’s quilt studio got two new quad outlets, so no more running an extension cord around the room to power her equipment. Our family room now has two can lights, so it will no longer be so dark in that room.

A couple of “mystery” electrical boxes appeared in the ceilings of the bedroom and hallway. It turns out these are locations for smoke alarms required by code in new construction. That’s a good thing!

There are many new circuits needed for the addition, and they all culminate at the breaker box in the garage where they await connection.
