Todd the plumber worked in the laundry and shower today. He made considerable progress on the drains and vents for the washer and sink and installed the box for the washer hookup.

In the shower, Todd mounted the temperature control and diverter valve. The diverter will route the flow of water to either the main shower head, which will be on the left, or to the handheld shower head, which will be on the right near the built-in seat.

While checking out today’s work, Lynda noticed a date stamp on one of the VERSA-LAM engineered beams. A little over two months ago, that beam was inside a Boise Cascade Engineered Wood factory in Alexandria, Louisiana. Now it’s in our house. Cool!

This engineered beam went from the factory to our house in two months.
