Tile work in the bathroom continued today with the grout being applied. We specified epoxy grout for the job because it is supposedly easier to keep clean than conventional grout. It comes highly recommended by other homeowners, so we have high hopes.

The grout is color-coordinated with the tile, too. It all looks great thanks to the fine work of Chad, who specializes in all types of finishing for our builder, Wesson!

Here is the accessible shower after grouting. It still needs plumbing fixtures and a shower curtain but otherwise is close to completion. A nice touch is that Chad pitched the built-in bench ever so slightly toward the drain so that water won’t pool on the seat.
