Another busy day found both the plumbing sub-contractor and a crew from Wesson Builders on site.
The plumber ran new PEX water lines from the existing utility closet to the master bath. These lines will also supply the new shower and the laundry room.

The original tub/shower will become a bathtub-only in the renovated bathroom. The tub will sit between the half walls visible on the left.

We had originally planned to save our cast iron tub and have it reglazed, but after difficulty in finding someone to do the job, we decided instead to replace the tub. In a minor setback, when the new tub arrived, it had the drain at the wrong end! So back it went, and we await delivery of another tub.
